Located high above the Rio Torto Valley near Quinta do Retiro, Tapadinha sits in one of the most famous sub-regions of the Douro. In 2015, we planted 11 white grape varieties – each with 700 vines – with the aim of studying their potential for producing high quality white wines in the Douro.
